How to Trim your Video
- Open Your Video: Locate the video you want to trim and open it.
- Navigate to 'Customize Video' and select 'Trim': Once your video is open, click on the 'Customize Video' dropdown located on the top of the right of the video player.
- Trim Your Video: Here, you can trim your video in two ways:some text
- Use the Scrubber: The scrubber is a visual representation of your video timeline. Click and drag the handles on either end of the scrubber to trim the beginning or end of your video.
- Use Time Stamps: For more precision, you can set exact start and end times. This allows you to trim your video down to the millisecond. Enter your desired start and end times in the fields provided.
- Save Your Changes: Once you've made the desired adjustments, make sure to save your changes to apply the trim to your video.
By following these steps, you can efficiently trim your video content to keep only the most important parts.
Controlling Video Download for Viewers
With Clip Flip, you can manage the distribution of your content by allowing or disallowing your viewers to download your video.
Setting Video Download Permissions for Viewers
To determine whether your viewers can download your videos, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Your Video: Open the video you wish to share.
- Open the Customize Video dropdown: Once your video is open, click on 'Customize Video' at the top right of the video player screen.
- Go to Preferences: In the dropdown menu, select 'Preferences'.
- Toggle Download Permission: Within 'Preferences', you'll see various options that you can toggle on and off. Locate the 'Allow Download' option.
- If you want your viewers to be able to download the video, make sure this option is toggled 'On'.
- If you do not want your viewers to download the video, ensure this option is toggled 'Off'.
Remember to save your changes once you've set your preferences.
Customizing Permissions: Disabling Viewers' Comments, Downloads, and Emoji Reactions
With Clip Flip, you can manage the ways your viewers interact with your content. You can toggle on and off 1. if your video can be reacted to with emojis, 2. if your video can be downloaded, or 3. if your video can be commented on.
Steps to Customize Video Permissions
- Open Your Video: Locate the video you want to customize and open it.
- Navigate to 'Customize Video': Once your video is open, click on 'Customize Video' located at the top of the screen to open the dropdown menu.
- Go to Preferences: In the dropdown menu, select 'Preferences.' This will lead you to a page where you can customize the settings for your video.
- Toggle Permissions On or Off: Within 'Preferences,' you'll find various settings you can control. These include:some text
- Allow Download: This option controls whether viewers can download your video. If you want to disallow downloads, ensure this option is toggled 'Off'.
- Allow Comments: If you'd like to disable comments on your video, ensure the 'Allow Comments' option is toggled 'Off'.
- Allow Emojis: To prevent viewers from reacting with emojis, toggle the 'Allow Emojis' option to 'Off'.
- Save Your Changes: After you've set your preferences, be sure to save your changes.
